9900k undervolted to 1.235 @ 1.267v max load
All setting are left auto
Blk100.00(no xmp boost)
2x8 @3200 OC 1.360v
MSI Z390 ACE last bios
Nzxt Kraken (52) 240mm AIO
——
Prime 29.4 Small FFT AVX
hit 100c in seconds
AIO max speed pump and fans
Avg temp 96c
Power consumption (191-203w) avg195W
——
Passed 1 hour no errors
——
Blender benchmark Reaches 90C
Cinbench almost around 85c
All around 160w power consumption
I use hwmonitor

Your using the wrong version of Prime95, it has to be version 26.6 which is probably why your temp is so high
https://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=15504
Also use CoreTemp.

Use 26.6 Small FFT's Test and report back the temps.

"Prime95 version 26.6 Small FFT's is ideal for CPU thermal testing, because it's a steady 100% workload with steady Core temperatures. No other utility so closely replicates Intel's load test."

I got it around 95c (one core is 95c other are less ) with my AIO maxed with some spikes
It’s 2-3 degrees lower ,
now my cpu package power is 171-173w
LlC voltage 1.267 as it was ...
Liquid temp is 35c
Is that normal temperature Fot that power and voltage with my kraken 52 maxed ?

Temp is still too high, should be under 85C while benchmarking & under 80C during normal loads such as gaming.

Was this read with CoreTemp or HWmonitor? Both?

I would revert any CPU settings back to stock for now and then make sure the AIO is installed correctly. The 9900K runs quite warm but that X52 should keep it within safe temps. If the AIO is installed correctly then place your hand on the pump and it should have a vibration if it's working correctly and moving the water, if not then the pump is probably dead and you need to return it or RMA it to NZXT.

I did make a test
Pump on silent vs full speed
I could hear something starting
In CAM software every thing seems fine

Are the temperatures fairly consistent across each core?

I’ve seen a few reviews recently about Intel cpu’s having heatspreaders that are far from flat and people lapping them to get them flat. It can make a significant difference to their temperature. I wonder if you have a particularly uneven heatspreader.

Hi there
Thanks in advance
For example
Mostly 2 cores at 89-90
Others (around 2-3 cores )spike to 97-98
Others in between

It seems like a obvious thing to remove but hey, still gotta ask as others have failed to remove it.

The 9900K is safe up to 1.4V vcore so no issues there.

What temps are you getting while gaming?

What is your ambient (room) temp?
While gaming there is some few spikes to 80c
Mostly (50-70) according to load
I see people do 5ghz across all cores with my stock (auto) voltage which ranges from 1.258-1.306 at avx load

Room temp?

At least your gaming temps, while warm, are still within safe limits.
Sorry I forgot to mention
my room temps now at around
26-28
I’m just worried if I got a bad chip
That needs a lot of voltage and thus a lot of power to operate and can’t Reach 5Ghz 😢
I’ve spend all my money to get it because I have a dream of running 5Ghz stable

Should I go to the retailer and do some tests , may be exchange it with another one , or this is a perfectly normal chip I got ?

Is it still undervolted?
I got settings back to stock
just the 9900k on auto
And XMP profile at blk100.00 no boost
What should I do to know if something wrong about my chip
I’ve seen all YouTube vids about that topic
And I saw some people get relatively high temps
And different power withdraw
I wanna a test confirm my results to see if I’m normal or what
I have Aida64-OCCt-prime 26.6-cinbench-realbench(luxmark fails at stock)
I don’t know what to do

Now at stock idle temps 27-29
Aida64 FPU test
Power reached 203w max 190avg
Voltage reached 1.277v max
Thermal throttling all over 3 cores reached
100C and throttled
Others 92-93-96-98-98
Kraken X52 240ml AIO at auto
In less than 2 min

Ambient temp is quite hot.

What case do you have? Any additional fans not including stock?

I have crystal 570x
Kraken AIO mounted in the front “pull” fans 2x120 at 1000rpm auto (stock fans)
3 exhausted (2x up top)and one rear fan all (sp120) at 1100rpm auto
I did ran *cinbench” few times
Score from 1960-2002cb
Max temp around 85 unless I do test like 10 continuous time
It may go 86 and so on...
power consumption 150w - V core 1.210-1.229 max
ALL auto STOCK

Power is 163w avg
When my AIO was stock it reached 93c
All around 10 min of testing
