A few questions.

I'm sure I can find this out myself but I've tried and it was taking a LONG time.

Some quick questions:

Are there any news/leaks about the upcoming AMD cards in October?

Why can’t you overclock a Xeon? I've heard that it’s because of the motherboard but the ASRock Z87 EXT3 has support for the Xeon CPUs.

What are the requirements to record and upload to YouTube in 1080p? Probably a stupid question, I'd need a monitor with 1080 vertical pixels, but I can't seem to find the answer to the question (most likely because it's too obvious).

Could you list PSU's with the hybrid fan technology (not sure if its the name, but its when the fan turns off when it's not needed)?

Would I be able to watch Freeview using a TV tuner do I need to pay an additional fee (e.g. a TV license (not sure if it matters but I'm with virgin media))? If so where would I find a pci-e card (in the UK)?

This has nothing to do with computers but you know, I want to see if anyone else thinks this. Could you go onto Chris Pirillo’s YouTube channel and watch some of his latest vlogs, his wife Diana is bugging me, she seems off, I don't know how to explain it, it's been bugging me for weeks all I can say is she's very childlike (not childish), she doesn't seem real (or mature) if that makes any sense.

If I was to replace the Southbridge and Northbridge coolers (the heat sinks), with little 40mm fans, would I be see better temperatures?

Thanks guys, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please no fanboyism/bias, they're very wont to give bad advice (yes wont, not won't).

I don't really care for leaks, most of the time it's just marketing trying to hype it up. There's really not much info about them other than they changed the naming scheme to r#-2## instead of what people were calling hd 9###. The highest gpu will have 4gb vram. Not like any other specs will matter, real benchmarks is all that matters. Lower end models will be rebrandings of past generations.

Xeons are locked and the same socket xeons work in consumer chipsets. I find asrock is the most common to actually list them in the support list. You will also find plenty of i5, i7 that are locked. Though I should point out it's the multi that is locked so you can still change bclk if it's an ocable mobo.

You would need a 1080p monitor to record 1080p since it is recording the video signal to the monitor. Otherwise there is no requirement to upload other than you need internet. It's not just 1080 vertical pixels, it's 1920x1080, since you could have a 4:3 monitor that has more than 1080 vertical but not being wide enough means you can't do 1080p.

Too many to care to do it really. I know the corsair tx, ax, hx as well as seasonic and enermax gold psus. Mostly the good quality gold and platinum will.

Don't know, not from uk.

Not going to waste my time.

Don't waste your time doing it. Keep them on and have fans would be cooler but they usually don't need extra cooling, especially with higher end mobos that you would get to push oc. If you are doing such extreme ocing, you'd have water cooling anyways.

Thanks, that's all I really wanted to know (the whole VRAM thing).

Oh, I was under the impression they was unlocked but it was the motherboard that didn't allow them to be (server motherboards).

Thanks, I'm surprised I couldn't find that by googling.

Managed to find a PSU with hybrid technology. An XFX P1-750B-BEFX. Do you know if they're safe? I'd typically go with a Corsair, but this is going cheap at the moment. Also, I order things from the US and get them shipped to the UK using a third party shipping service, and the adaptor from ac to dc has an american ending on it, so can I use a generic ac to dc adaptor?

Guess, I'll ask somewhere else.

That's ok, just interested if anyone thought the same.

I would like to water cool again, but it was just too much hassle last time.
