Before-Hand
I know I have made many of these threads lately but it has to come to my attention that their are many possibilities that may cause my problems and I want to create a detailed thread explaining all about my problems in detail for acute accuracy.
Overview
I have been experiencing many power/shut down related issues including random shutdowns or restarts during the run of some games such as MW2 or CS:GO but not with other less intensive games such as Garry's Mod or CS:S.
The Details
So, one day I was happily playing a game of CS:GO when all of a sudden I hear a loud BANG and a strange coming out my case; similar to this video. After trying to get it to work I bought a cheap PSU in replacement. I set it up and I worked, just like it is now, but for some reason when I want to play other games other than CS:S like CS:GO it decides to restart for some reason. I have made many threads about this issue and some people say that the PSU is cheap and most proberly the source of the issue as it may be faulty or doesn't supply sufficent power. Others say that in the explsion of the PSU it may have brought some things down with it such as the GPU which may be damaged as suggested may a user who states that the restart is the cuase of the computer trying to access a part of the GPU that is damaged. I am thinking of buying a new PSU such as this which someone suggested was a good choice and had a nice supply of power. I hope someone can provide some insight into this issue and can maybe point me in the right direction as I don't want to waste my money on unnessessary items. Many thanks in advance.
