A good gpu under 300$

I'm starting a new build and will watercool the i5 6600k but i also wanted to watercool my gpu. But as I see the best gpu for me right now is the rx 480 which runs from what I heard really cool and watercooling it will kinda be a waste. So what gpu would you recommend me under 300$

absolutely wait or buy the 480. the new nvidias are supposed to be like the 200 series when they were on the 9800's before. major upgrade

So would it be worth watercooling them? Im guessing we should wait on what overclocking benchmarks will show

that's nice, but what are the stocking quantities going to be? i saw the shelves were still empty of the 1080's last week after already being released.
doesn't do much good when only 1-2 are in stock, first come first served, and at those prices i'm sure they will be out in the first day with the way 970's and 3XX's are going up for sale on ebay and craigslist for around those prices so people can swap out to upgrade at near new prices.

14 out of stocks on the 1080's out of 18, and i expect the remaining 4 to be gone this week end again.
