I said a beer not a meal 🙂

Do enjoy a cold Guinness occasionally. I hear it's a completely
different taste in Ireland - would like to check that out.

I can buy Old Speckled Hen in bottle or can here in Sweden.
I've tried it and it was good......

I have. I wouldn't say it tasted completely different, but it is... better :)

The pubs are also much better than ours, service-wise (or were; I went to Dublin
10 years ago - it's probably all theme-Irish bars now)

If you really must bow to peer pressure and drink cans with your mates,
Pedigree, Abbot's, Ruddles County and London Pride are all available in can
form. It may not taste like it does from a tap or a bottle, but it has to be
better than drinking that John Smiths pish, surely? And if you feel brave
enough to open a bottle in front of them and pour it into a glass (*gasp*), a
world of beer-enjoying opportunity opens up 😉

I'm not keen on Old Speckled Hen in bottles, must admit.

Have you considered the delights of bottled Czech lager?

You're getting "religion" confused with "racoon".

How do you get them to sit still? Mine keep wandering off and getting
into the garbage.

I can see how that would happen.
