Hello. Sooo, as the titles says here is the question. Why the hell my gpu makes coil whine noise when I run Guild Wars 2 or World of Tanks? 😀 No other games do that for me... I tried it with bf4 maxed out and it's silent. I really don't get this ... As far as I understand those games are all quite demanding. Thank you for the replies 😛

My specs are:
asus z97-a
i5 4690k
970 gtx g1 gaming
seasonic M12II 850W
8 gb ram corsair ddr3

All coil wine is the vibration of a coil when a certain voltage is ran through it.

If its possible to find the exact coil of object that is making the noise you can put some type of non conductive grease to keep the vibration to a minimum.

But there is really nothing you can do about it, except for getting a new case or gpu.

Ah, well. One more question then. Since it's all about the voltage that's running through the coil as far as I understand. If one game runs the same voltage as the other game with no coil whine is kinda of strange. Atleast that's what GPUz shows atleast. Or that is another value? 😛
