Would an i5 Quad Core CPU (2.7 GHz - 3.3 GHz Turbo) along with an Intel Iris Pro 6200 GPU be able to run PLAYERUNKNOWNS Battlegrounds at 60FPS+ on Medium. I've looked online but with nothing to answer this question.

All help is appreciated (apart from those rich guys who tell me to build my own xD just kidding)
Thanks :)

Solution
You would need a dedicated GPU and make sure you have enough RAM. Without your full system specs it's hard to answer.

PC System Requirements[edit | edit source]
Current System Requirements as of March 2017 from Steam Early Access.

Minimum
OS 64-bit Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10)
Processor Intel Core i3-4340 / AMD FX-6300
GPU nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB
HD Space 30 GB available space
RAM 6 GB RAM
DirectX Version 11

The RAM is 8GB, 1TB HDD but no Dedicated GPU. Would it still run?

Would it run? Yes it would.

At 1080p 60FPS Medium settings? I would have strong doubts as someone who plays this game quite a bit.

Your CPU might be enough to handle the game, same with RAM but i agree you would be best investing in a dedicated Graphics Card to achieve anything higher than Low at a good framerate. If you do look into a card i'd aim for something mid-end like an RX 570 or thereabouts for this game, it should handle a combo of Medium/High with most settings pretty stable. An entry level card like a GTX 1050 or RX 460 would probably handle mostly Medium settings however, but i can't say for certain. Hope this help :)

Thanks for that. It sure did help :) One quick question, if you don't mind. If I was to keep the integrated Intel GPU then would it run Battlegrounds? And if so, at how much FPS at what graphics setting?

Thanks for the help, m8 :)

Not really mate, i just watched a Video on it and the forum following the video (i3 6100 running same Integrated GPU) and it was pretty bad. Running 720p on Low settings and it was 25-30 FPS on average which is borderline unplayable and certainly not very good looking of course, achieving 60 FPS was possible but only when turning the Resolution scale down to 50% or so which looked extremely bad, as in loads of jagged edges and textures were horrible i wouldn't personally bother. Here is the Video > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVCzh6huo-4. And a Forum post > http://forums.playbattlegrounds.com/topic/11405-intel-hd-graphics/. Both pretty much say don't bother it's unplayable.

After watching some benchmark even a cheap RX 460 would be enough to play the game at 40+ FPS on a combo of Low/Medium at 1080p. But an RX 470/570 would be ideal for running all Medium settings at 60 FPS.

would this laptop run CS:GO on medium at 50FPS+ or na?

Probably, hard to say with a Macbook. But for the price you can get a laptop that will run it on High at 60+ FPS on the same store. http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/msi-phantom-gs40-6qe-14-gaming-laptop-black-10143142-pdt.html. i7 6700HQ + GTX 970m. It comes with CSGO as well lol (and Halo Wars 2). And PUBG would be run on this fine at Medium settings too if you still plan on that. Also this Asus one for the same price but it has 8GB RAM instead of 16GB so i would go the MSI.
