A question about win 10.

Hi guys, my pc is currently running on win 7 ultimate (cracked), previously when i bought my pc it had win 7 home premium genuine, i have all the informations (cd key ect...) i wanted to know if i download win 10 to install it, will i be able to use the cd key from my home premium version of win 7?

You need to first install that Windows 7 home premium you have, and then you can upgrade.

As said you need to install your genuine copy. When you do the upgrade it updates your product key and will need a genuine key to upgrade

I don't want to upgrade, i want to do a clean install and i wanted to use my original cd key from the home premium version, can't i do it?

I know that from home premium i have to go to win 10 home, so i am currently downloading it.

I don't want to upgrade the OS because with the upgrade it will slow down my pc.

of course not, that key is for windows 7 home premium not windows 10

You need to go through the upgrade route as this process upgrades your key to Windows 10. After you have done this you can do a clean install but not before
