So today i noticed that blue slots on my GIGABYTE P55M-UD2 dont work under any circumstances
actually it does post when i put rams next to eachother (running in single channel) but then only one ram is detected so therefore one ram is a dummy
What are the odds something related to the chipset is messed up? I updated the bios but that didn't do anything
The configuration consists of an I5 750, 2x2gb of Elpida 1333mhz ram and a previously mentioned motherboard. The bios is updated to the latest version

Solution
If you have reinserted your processor into the socket, you likely damaged some pins.
If so, they can be straightened out if you are very careful.

i thought that the socket was damaged, checked twice but nope, every pin is as it should be. I also checked for damaged traces leading to the slots and everything was ok there as well
The funny thing is, while searching for solutions , i saw that quite a few people had problems with this motherboard and ram compatibility... the only thing i can try is memtest or different ram in the "dead" slots, if not it's most likely the motherboard
