I can't find list of compatible ram for the CPU, or is it the motherboard that you should look at? Suggesting specific RAM is of no use as I live in wasteland. I also read that APUs benefit from 2 ranked ram which is actually cheaper than 1 ranked ram, so there you go (looked quite authentic).

You want to look at the motherboard. Go to the motherboard manufacturer’s website and choose your motherboard in the support section.
Then find Memory Compatibility list. Its also a good idea to read the CPU Compatibility list as well, just so you know, its not really required.
Give me the name and model of your motherboard.

Keep in mind memory should be installed in pairs, and you want 8GB of RAM. More then 8GB has a debatable cost/performance benefit for most consumer uses.

I was going to install 4gb only, so hyperx is good for that mobo. Dismissed the dual channel comment, it supposedly gets 5% for you.

True enough, I was going off from benchmarks with GPU and stuff, so yes from quick google search you'd hear of almost 100% performance improvement in some games (from dual).

Fast, Dual Channel and High Amounts of memory are craved by the AMD APU's. So instead of the GPU having its own dedicated memory it shares memory and bandwidth with the normal system memory. This is why speed of DDR3-2400, Lowest CAS you can afford, and highest capacity you can afford all go a long ways in taking a subpar AMD APU and getting it to perform closer to Intels i3's.
