A12-9800 runs everything sluggish

So my brand new pc, about 2 hours old, just built it is kinda slow. It has a A12-9800, 2x4gb 2400mhz ram, and an A-320 motherboard. I upgraded from a pre built Desktop that had a A4-5300. And when I run alien isolation on my new pc I can’t even get over a single FPS on the start menu. And the CPU jumps to max frequency. Which I guess could be normal but seriously, my old pc could run the actual game better than this can. The only other thing maybe is because of having another game installing? Anyways any help here is appreciated.

does the dell bios support the new A12-9800 cpu?

Nothing in my new pc came from the old one. I have a Asrock motherboard and it does.

check cpu temp? don't have a dedicated gpu? what resolution/detail are you playing?

full system spec? include make and model of the psu

Background tasks could cause issues with gameplay. I would suggest closing all non-essential tasks.

Personally I am thinking of whether RAM compatibility could cause an issue. Then there's things like drivers with a new build too.

My cpu is at 35 idle and 52 when running a game and just 1360x768, and using the R7 integrated graphics.

Yes windows 10 home 64 bit and ram should be compatible, it shows it running fine.

bios up to date? what the exact model of the mobo?

A320M-HDV and I can go ahead and put in the cd it came with.
