Hello, im curious if this Motherboard can run a Ryzen 5 3600 right away without updating the BIOS. I have got no older AMD CPU to downgrade so i need to know if this Mainboard will be able to boot with a 3600 so i can install a BIOS update if necessary. On the MSI site it says "supports Ryzen 3th gen"

And please dont comment to tell me how bad this MOBO is and that i should rather get a B450 MAX, ty!

This board will require a certain BIOS version to support the 3600 but this isn't the issue. The issue you know it but you don't want to hear it. Expect CPU limiting factor and possible crashing/freezing with this board using this CPU.

So what happens if i

So what happens when i install a 3600 into this Mainboard and boot up the PC ? Can i even access the BIOS to update it ?

The issue you know it but you don't want to hear it.
because i just got the a320 today and i have already ordered a B450 Max but i heard about the BIOS problem with the a320 too late so i either build my PC together now with the A320 and send the B450 back or i wait 1 week for the B450 and send the A320 back. So i only need to know if i will be able to update the BIOS and boot with a 3600 right away.

This video shows that the 3600 runs perfectly fine on a A320 btw

If the BIOS does not support the 3600, the computer will not POST, and you will not get to the BIOS to update it. It will either not start up at all, or you won't get a display or a CPU error on the motherboard. I'd say wait for the B450 to arrive and send the A320 back.

Unless you tell us what BIOS is installed we cannot say if you need a BIOS update.
I just want to know if i can update the BIOS with a 3600 right away, if the pc even boots up and lets me access the BIOS. That i need one is clear.

There is no debate here. If you have a B450 MAX incoming you should use that board. To answer your question I will have to know which BIOS version you have right now but if you never updated your BIOS it's pretty much guaranteed that you will have to update the BIOS for the 3600 to boot.

I would return the A320 and go with

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard
