A64 3400+ benched

Not bad i must say...one must consider that it is all based on 32-bit code and also VIA is not Teh best chipmaker out there that's for sure i mean look at the latency on VIA board considering the link to AGP which is very high.....

And then intel fan's will bow down to Intel like dog's :X...
 
None of those benchmarks are enough to outclass a 3.2Ghz P4 Northwood... They look still look great, though.

Also, 64-bit support from the OS might give a small boost to 32-bit software running on A64. But only 20% of all software, at best, will have full 64-bit support at early 2004...

I hope they get their software support right! They're depending on it.
