I have the above board, with an AMD ATHLON XP 1900+ processor, but it shows
up in the Bios as 1200 MHZ. I believe it should show up as 1600MHZ.

The multiplier defaults to 12.0x
The CPU/PCI Frequency is set to 100/33
The CPU Memory Frequency is set to 3:4

Should it be 1200 or 1600 ?
Please advise!

Set that CPU for 133Mhz and you'll have the 1600Mhz your looking for. I
suspect the Multiplier is locked at 12.0x

I changed the CPU to 133MHZ and it changed it to 1600MHZ, thanks! I did have
the opportunity to change the multiplier but didn't need to.

Last question. Is this just a cosmetic error in the BIOS or was the computer
really running 400MHZ slower ?

Thanks for the help.

It really was running slower.

Your unintentional underclocking is a very common situation.
