A7N8X-E Deluxe and memory voltage

I've noticed something peculiar here. Even though I set the voltage in the
bios to 2.6v, after bootup, the NVsystemutility states the Mem voltage is
2.7. It also gives me the option of changing it to 2.6 which it does
successfully until the next boot.

NVSystemUtility gives you the ability to change DDR voltage ?

My A7N8X-E Deluxe with the latest BIOS doesn't allow this.

My two Corsair sticks SPDs say both that they need an operating voltage of
2.5 V. The BIOS wouldn't go less than 2.6 V. And NVSU says its actually 2.7
V.

What wrong here anyway ?

Greetings,

Frank

Yes, I am wondering what is wrong as well.

Yes, the NVutility lets you change voltage. I have bios version 1012, and
NVutils 1.02. It also lets you adjust bus speeds and memory timings from
within windows. I'm just wondering who is right, the bios setting or
NVutils. I would think NVutils is correct because I can change it down to
2.6v.
