Does the ECS A885GM-A2 (V1.1) have a bios that supports GPU's using PCI-E 16X 2.1 instead of 2.0?

I want to upgrade my EVGA 9400 GT to a Radeon HD 6850 and was wondering if this will work or do i have to stick with cards that are using PCI-E 16X 2.0?

You will probably have to stick with 2.0

Even though your MB is PCIE 2.0, you can use 2.1 cards without problem, they are backwards compatible.

Ok, so i got one guy saying yes and one guy saying no... Which is it?

I am positive that PCI 2.1 cards work in PCI 2.0 slots. I do it myself.
