I have this board Abit AA8XE
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813127188

I was told a long time ago that i can't put a dual core in it duel to a few factors one of which being the 90nm so i was looking around and found this CPU
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_D/Intel-Pentium%20D%20820%20HH80551PG0722MN%20%28BX80551PG2800FN%20-%20BX80551PG2800FT%29.html

If this won't work why not because to my understanding it is only 95watt 90nm and socket LGA775 even a Pentium D, so what am i missing?

OK so i read some pretty damaging evidence to say hell no i can't go for any dual core processors

"The Pentium D 820 did not work with the nForce 4 SLI Intel Edition chipset due to some power design issues, though they were rectified in the X16 version. The 915- and 925-series chipsets did not work at all with the Smithfields, as they did not support more than one core (to prevent motherboard manufacturers from using them for Xeon branded motherboards, as had happened with the 875P chipset)."

I am right when i read that it is no? but i am kinda little ticked that from what i read the board was screwed over big time?
