Here's my starting line-up:
AMD Athlon XP 1900
Abit KR7A Raid
512 MB of Samsung DDR ram
60 GB 7200rpm Maxtor hard drive
Nvida GeForce 4 MX 440
TDK 40x12x48 CD-RW
Pioneer DVD drive
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy sound card
Windows XP Home edition
I'm having two conflicts. 1) My BIOS won't remember its settings when I unplug my computer. 2) My computer restarts randomly while I'm trying to install new programs. It also sometimes restarts before it's even finished restarting. The strange part is that there doesn't seem to be any listed conflict in device manager and things seem to be running very smoothly otherwise.
I've checked a few other websites and aparently, there's a known conflict between my RAM and my Motherboard, but no error shows up in device manager. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
AF
