I've just bought a Abit KV7 mobo and a Antec SLK3700AMB case.

I'm having trouble figuring out which way the chassis LED's and switch
cables from the case fit into the motherboard headers. on page 2-9 of the
mobo manual it says the positive polarity must match between the headers and
the cables, but there is no indication on the chassis cables which side is
positve.
All the cables from the case have a white wire and the other wire(s) is
coloured. which side of the cable connector is positive.

The other question is, the mobo has a ATX12V1 connector on top left (page
2-4), what is this power connector for and as the case came with a 350w PSU,
it has a 20 pin main power connector and a 4pin +12V power connector. Do i
need to connect the +12V connector from PSU to the ATX12V1 connector on the
mobo.

Hope someone can help.

TIA

Munish,

The normal configuration is the coloured wire is the positive, that is to
say in case of speaker you have Red + Black, the Red is for Pin 1, in case
of PWR Green & White + Black (well in my case), in a mates case Green +
White, the Green was positive.
