Abit MB static like sound

I have an Abit VH6-II MB that has a sound like static. Sounds like its coming from the AGP slot. I took out the AGP card and put another one in ,no change. Took out that one and put in a PCI video card and the static is gone.
Could it be the MB is Bad? If it is then I need a MB for a PIII 1ghz socket 370. Where is a good place to get an older MB? Any recommendations?

Does the video card have a cooling fan on it?

original card was Gforce GTS with fan,next I tried a 3dfx voodoo 3 with no fan, both had the static noise
