Abnormal CPU usage

Hey. when im playing BF3 at high settings with all filters ( AA etc.) off and with low shadows and ultra textures i get 80-90% CPU usage. My rig is an athlon x4 760k ( NO its not the old athlons its a step up from the new 750k) and a HD 7770. there cant be a bottleneck as this is equal to a 965 and that could be run with a 7870 no problems and im still getting 95-100% GPU usage.

that's really good actually. there no bottlenecking by your cpu.

Based on this benchmark by toms, you should be getting about 45fps average with the 7770

As long as your getting similar results, it means you have no cpu bottlenecking.

Don't worry too much about the cpu usage, unless it is causing you to have lower then normal fps for your gpu.
