About CPU overclocking. Option hidden in BIOS

I'm purchased new desktop with Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3Ghz. But it showing that the processor is clocked at 1.8Ghz, i'm trying to overclock it. but in BIOS the overclocking option is not showing on BIOS. So what to do now. My MotherBoard is Aver-Tek G31 LGA775. BIOS version is 6.00 PG. I'm from India. And i have tried other software also like intel cpu configuration or some other overclocking softwares non of that are worked. Waste of time.

Thank You for ur Soluiton. But what's my problem is when ever i will got to bios i have seen every option but the overclocking option is hidden so this my problem! so how to get that option in bios?

You could try to update the BIOS to see if you get unlocked OC (overclock) settings or not.

Other than that, there's not much to do.
It depends on MoBo maker if they decide to include OC options into the BIOS or not. As far as i can read, OC option isn't hidden, MoBo maker just hasn't included the OC option into the BIOS.
