Is there an Android OS or Android tablet or computer that can run Android apps AND allow the app's window display to be displayed at the full size of the monitor, say for example a 24" screen or larger? I have vision issues and being able to use the full width and height of my monitor is mandatory. Smartphone screen sizes are too tiny for me to read comfortably. What I'm thinking is I would run a cable from my router to the device and then connect the device via HDMI to my monitor for the display and use a keyboard and mouse for data and screen navigation.

I use Windows almost exclusively on a desktop computer, and only recently started looking at Android type stuff using a VirtualBox VM based on Android x86. I've tried Bluestacks in the past and did not like it. I've read a review listing Android variants called Prime OS, Bliss OS and Remix OS but don't know anything else about them or if they even offer what I'm looking for. They are not officially supported in VirtualBox.

not tried prime or bliss, but remix OS worked well. basic desktop like windows has, just all android apps instead of windows stuff.

bliss OS looks interesting though i've never tried it. desktop or tablet home screen would be good for you to decide which works better for you.

these options save you a lot of time getting it to your monitor wince they are pc based. fire up the vm and go to work.
