Hello guys,
My problem is a bit complicated. I purchased Assassin's Creed: Origins 3 weeks ago, I played 60 hours with it, everything was going fine. However last week I decided to fully reinstall my operating system (Windows 10) and I formatted both my drives.
So after completing the clean install, I redownloaded everything, installed all the drivers and important stuff etc ...
Then I launched the game. The game stucks at splash screen and it won't start. I contacted Ubisoft support, they told me that the problem is that the game is installed on a Microsoft Storage Space drive and I should install it on a standard HDD. Unfortunately I cannot install it to my SSD because it's only big enough for the operating system and some programs.
I don't know what Microsoft Storage Space drive is, I never heard about it before, a week ago everything worked fine so my question is how to convert this drive to a standard HDD?
Ubisoft's support page says the following: "If you would like to convert the Microsoft Storage Space Device into standard hard disk drive space but are unsure how to do this, please CONTACT MICROSOFT SUPPORT directly."
I contacted them. They didn't understand my problem, it was a completely waste of time.
A part from my dxdiag file:
Drive: D:
Free Space: 938.7 GB
Total Space: 952.3 GB
File System: NTFS
Model: Microsoft Storage Space Device
