I'm going to be fitting 2 powerline adapters with an AC socket on the front of them (TP-Link TL-PA251), but I've now discovered that I'll need an extra 2 sockets instead of just the one on the adapter itself. Is it possible to put a 2 or 3-way adapter, such as: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Masterplug-Indoor-MSF3-NK-MS-Adapter/dp/B001GBTMEW/ in the PL's socket or are they only really designed to carry one device plugged into them? An extension lead wouldn't be an ideal alternative as there is a lack of space where the PL will be plugged in. The 2 extra sockets I need are for the cordless phone charger and the wireless router.

There really shouldn't be much of a limitation. If you were to plug a air conditioner in it would likely not be the best idea. I suspect your largest issue is going to be getting a adapter that will physically fit.

As long as the stuff you plug into the powerline adapter does not cause interference I suspect you are ok. I have never seen the limit on how many amps you can plug in so I would assume it is as high as the wall outlet.

Whatever you do not plug a vacuum into the outlet, it will not hurt it but it is pretty much one the devices that can block the signal extremely well.
