Acceptable backlight bleed on LED

My new BenQ G2222HDL arrived this week and it's a nice monitor. The only thing I'm concerned about is that on a black screen in a dark room, you can quite clearly see a backlight bleed around both the left and right sides of the panel. This particular bleed runs almost all the way up the sides and creeps about 0.5cm in from the side of the screen.

Is this a normal amount of backlight bleed or should I request a replacement? I only ask because all the reviews say they noticed no backlight bleed at all and I'm not massively clued up on this...

Any help is really appreciated!

I took a set of photos the other day (sorry for the delay, got swiftly posted away from home for a few days).

The last one was quickly taken when loading the Windows Task Manager screen so might not represent the problem as accurately.

To me it looks noticable in certain tasks and views, but looking at it here it's a very small portion of the screen...
