Hello,

I was replacing my CPU cooler and when I pulled it off the CPU came with it. I by no means "reefed " on it and the lock lever was down prior to pulling it off. The cooler came off with the CPU stuck to the bottom of it and the lock arm came up. I inspected the pins and nothing seems to be damage. I replaced the CPU, locked it and installed the new cooler. Do I need to worry about it not posting or anything else?

Thanks in advance!

It's not the PGA CPU, but the ZIF socket. This sort of thing just didn't happen before the dainty lever was added and CPUs had to be installed using extreme force.

But yeah, next time try twisting the cooler to break the adhesion of the TIM before pulling up on it.
