As a student looking for a tablet replacement (iPad2) I need effective writing input. And I need palm-resting islolation. Hopefully these pictures that include writing implements mean that they are working with this in mind. An active stylus would be ideal, but there may be other reasonable solutions. If not, SurfacePro3 might be the most effective option, and worth the cost if its what works best.

Yuck, more low-end tablets with only 1GB RAM. They should have raised the price on the low-end models by $10-20 and made them 2GB.

1GB was nice three years ago but today, with Android 5.x and app bloat, it is becoming troublesome. 2GB should really have become standard by now.

Also, with 5.x, some of the storage gets used to cache copies of code re-compiled by ART. 16GB of eMMC is starting to feel tight. We're overdue for 32GB becoming the new entry-level.
