acer aspire one restore xp home edition

Please advise if it is possible to reinstall my Acer Aspire One windows xp home edition which was preinstalled at purchase. I have the product key on the back of the machine. Thank you !

Yes you can re-install it, it should have a set of restore disks or possibly a recovery partition you can use to restore it with an option when the system turns on. If you don't have either, you need an XP Home disk, either check on craigslist locally or check ebay. Make sure you get a genuine disk not a copy, and that it's not some OEM version for a different computer brand.
