just built a new pc and noticed the 2080 ti doesnt have dvi only hdmi and dp's. the monitor has hdmi dvi and vga, was wondering is there anyway to get the 144hz from this setup, is there any adapaters or anything that actually work. ive looked online but cant get a clear answer, thanks for the help

Solution
in order to get 144hz on that monitor, you need a dual link DVI cable.

But unfortunately, as you say, your GPU doesn't support DVI.

So the only thing you can try (but I do not guarantee will work in any way) is a Display Port to Dual Link DVI cable or adapter.

Otherwise you'll just need to get a new monitor.

Here's one from AmazonBasics for $11
