Hey all,

I have an Acer - XB323QK 4k gaming monitor which is less than 12 months old.
About 3 months ago I noticed some artifacting (large discoloured green squares) appearing in games, it progressively got more persistent.
Originally I thought it was the GPU but upon testing the GPU and also testing on a separate monitor with new cables and a separate PC, I managed to isolate the issue to my Acer monitor.
I sent it back to the place I bought it from and they 'tested' it for 6 weeks only to return the monitor to me saying they will not action the warranty because they can't replicate the fault.
I proceeded to buy even a new set of DP and power cables to test and it is happening worse than ever...
I am extremely frustrated with this outcome and I do not know what else to do... I can't seem to find anything like my situation on the internet so here I am posting it first hand.
I have video evidence but as I am unsure how to upload videos I have uploaded screenshots of the 'artifacting' here: View: https://imgur.com/a/ms89wLV

I thoroughly appreciate you reading this far, any advice or knowledge on this would be amazing.

Thank you

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If I were you, I'd try and submit videos as well as audio of the issue on your panel, if you've verified that the issue is indeed on the panel itself and not your other hardware in your system. If you want to attach videos, you upload them to the same site you hosted your images on, then pass on the URL for the videos here.

Ming sharing the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

It doesn't look like a panel issue if you are only seeing it in games. It's maybe a firmware update for the monitor, or different settings for the monitor.
I guess the next thing to try is updating the monitors firmware, turning on vsync rather than gsync, adjusting the monitor refresh rate and using 8-bit rather than 10-bit
