I want to build an All In One computer, and can't find a case I like, would i be better (and easier) to make an acrylic 3mm case to attach to the vesa mounts, or try bending aluminium (have tools at work) which would be, cooler, cheaper, and better? I'll only use a CPU fan, no other fans, and a GA-H87TN Board and cant find any made cases that are cheap, thin, and ones i like. Thanks

RSutter67 has a good point about no unwanted grounding affects. Aluminum may be lighter if that's a concern. Unless you have all the skills/tools for metal work, the acrylic may also come out looking a bit better. Both will be fun to keep clean since they both show prints/dust about the same, no advantage there really. If going acrylic, might be better to try and go with wide pan head type through bolts or something with a large washer to take the stress off the acrylic around the holes where you attach the vesa mount. Just thinking in terms of the weight hanging from it - so long as I'm picturing this right. An aio pc hung from the wall? Or an aio on the desktop with the vesa mounting the monitor to the case? Either way acrylic can be...

Either way acrylic can be somewhat fragile to stresses like that. Just need to plan out how the weight/stress of the vesa will be spread out to avoid stress cracking.
