How do I remove the text on my desktop (which appears in games as well) "Activate Windows Go to Settings Notification Removal) permanently? I tried making the text in notepad and setting up a schedualed task, but it came back. I can get rid of it by opening the file, but it comes back when I load a game.

You cause that notification nag text to go away by purchasing a valid OS license, and activating your installed OS.

Well I thought I had a good copy of Windows because I had a legit copy of Windows 7 then upgraded to 10 when it was free. Not sure what the problem is.

Then you'll need to call MS and talk to a human.
Have you made any hardware changes?

Yes I have a whole new PC.

Well, that's the issue!
The OS sees a whole different system.
