Hello,
recently my friend gave me his Notebook, Toshiba Satellite L550-1CC(http://www.toshiba.co.uk/discontinued-products/satellite-l550-1cc).
As soon as I got it, i did a disc format, and installed a fresh version of Windows 7 Professional(64). Everything went smooth, except wireless.

First of all, this the adapter:
Compliancy : Wi-Fi®
Network Support : 802.11b/g/n
Manufacturer : Realtek
Wireless Technology : Wireless LAN
Version : RTL8191SE

When I installed all drivers, button to turn on wireless didn't do anything (Fn+F8), then i started looking around. There was nothing in Device Manager(http://i.imgur.com/H00Y5rS.png), nothing in Network Communications(http://i.imgur.com/JeBVRC0.png), and I made sure that BIOS enabled Wireless Communication.
I tried to reinstall driver, or even try with other versions of it (all Win7(64) from this list https://aps.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads) and none worked.
I installed Driver Gadget to scan for missing drivers, and it didn't find any missing driver.
Here is a copy-paste of "ipconfig /all" : http://pastebin.com/A3TH4sEC

This thing really bugs me, because I am into all this, and never saw anything alike.
Could the wireless card be dead ?

If you need any additional info, I will gladly provide it.
Any help is appreciated.

All best.

Here is what I would try. Power the notebook completely down. Remove the battery and press the power button (discharges any residual power in the system). Then remove the cover that covers the wireless adapter and remove the adapter (physically).

Put the cover back in place and replace the battery. Boot the system fully and then shutdown completely.

Go through the previous steps again, only re-installing the wireless adapter. Restart Windows and see if the system detects a "new" device.
