Question Adapter from a laptop's 3.5mm audio jack to USB headset?

My headset has a built-in USB plug. Where can I find an adapter that will let me use it with my laptop's 3.5mm audio jack?

Amazon sells lots of adapters with the right connectors, but they all seem to be made for attaching an MP3 player to an auxiliary storage device, and they don't work with a headset.

if headset doesnt have 3.5mm plug, then you can use just that usb plug
adapter like that should be already buil in your headset / usb dac, no external adapter would help

It cannot be done. The USB includes its own DAC (soundcard), it has to be connected to USB to work and cannot accept an analogue signal.

yup, most headsets i saw has detachable 3.5mm from usb dac (wired headsets) and wireless have 3.5mm hole

This one doesn't. I guess I'm stuck with the USB port unless I want to replace it. Using the audio jack would increase my computer's inventory of usable USB ports by 100% (from 1 to 2), so I may have to do that.

Or you can get an inexpensive USB Hub and you're set.
