Question Adapter or plug cable?

Hi, I am going to be moving from the UK to an EU country and the plugs are different.

Is there any specific plug adapter I should buy? I am worried about the amount of power it draws because it is a gaming laptop. I also read that you can buy the lead part that comes from the power brick and plugs into the wall with an EU plug instead of UK plug should I get that instead of an adapter?

I am bringing 2 laptops, I will list the specs if that matters.

First one is a legion 5: 4600h and GTX 1650

Second is a legion 5i: i5 11400h and RTX 3060

Thanks.

You juts need an UK adapter like this.

The laptop's power adapter is universal so you have nothing to worry.

IVT, apologies for undermining your advice but the adapter you've recommended is for travellers to the UK.

Toast, apart from Ireland, all the EU counties use the same two-pronged plug so you'll need something like this:

I got mine from Wilko for less than £2.

I don’t have any specific problem with the adapter but is me I’d just replace the cable for a tidier solution.

Thanks for your replies, I found the actual cable for around £7 so I will go with that instead of an adapter.
