My system drive (ADATA SU655) started to hit 100% randomly upon starting my computer, mostly when apps were starting up, running, etc. As a result, my computer's load speeds are extremely low and laggy. I checked the event viewer and found out that an error called "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block." was being spammed in my system logs. I tried the error checking tool in the properties of my system drive, and it detected errors, restarted, and supposedly fixed the errors. After the Error check, my c drive is still hitting 100%, Windows is acting slow, etc. I've tried sfc/scannow, restarting, booting into safe mode, and checking my drive's health status on ADATA's toolbox. I'm currently at a loss and expect that my C Drive gave out after four years of usage. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Note: Coincidentally, this issue started after upgrading my corsair lpx ram to 32gb 3200mhz. I'm going to swap out my new ram for my old ram and run the same tests I did.
