Hello.
I dont know if i am suppose to ask this but i have searched and could not get an answer. I recently bought a kingston hyperx 4GB DDR3 Ram stick to add to my existing 12 GB ram. when i first inserted it on the first day it worked then, I changed my cpu coolant however i did not remove the rams, i left them in because they were not in the way. I believe it does not have anything to do with it but maybe it does, i don't know. long story short I installed my new CPU coolant and fired up my PC to find it not completing its boot, it will boot then after a few seconds it goes off. I swapped places with the previous ram to check if the slot is faulty but the same thing happened. I removed my prev 4GB ram and added the new Ram to my prev 8 GB and it only showed 8 GB of ram. and then i rebooted the system it failed to start up. This has happened before with my 2 GB DDR3 Ram that i tried to ad before. can anyone help me out on this.

Thank you fore your help :)

This sounds like you have a whole lot going on. To start, I would test each RAM stick you have, a single stick at a time. Using https://www.memtest86.com/. When you say changed the coolant for the CPU, do you mean a liquid cooled setup?

As far as when the computer turns off, any beeping noises or flashing lights?
