Adding more RAM (RipjawsX on Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H)

Greetings,

I want to make sure that I can safely fill up all my Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H (BIOS version F9) RAM slots with an additional 8GB (2x4) of G.Skill RipjawsX (F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL) without getting in system failures. My CPU is an Intel i7 4770k and my OS is Windows 7 x64 Professional.

if the all sticks are from same brand and model, you ensure there are no instability issues.

If they are different, it may still work but it will require manually setting speeds and latencies of the slowest stick in the BIOS.

Your motherboard should support up to 32GB of RAM.
