Address toolbar not working

Most of the sites I go to are on my bookmarks so I don't know how long this problem has been there. When I type anything into the address bar it doesn't work.

What does it do? Just sit there? What browser are you using?

It just sits there and does nothing. I am useing Mozilla Firefox.

After you type the address in, hit enter.

If it still just sits there, hit the refresh button.

Here's a link to the latest version of Firefox. If you don't have version 3.5.5, you may want to try upgrading.

Have you tried internet explorer or any other browsers to see if they have the same problem?

I am using IE8 and am having the same exact problem... well almost. The first time I put in a URL it opens IE (doesn't matter if I hit enter or use the launch arrow) but the browser just sits there says its connecting but never opens the page. Hitting refresh does nothing. I have to hit the arrow icon on the address toolbar from the task bar then the page loads. Anyone have any answers?

So the first time you launch a URL, it works fine? Then any subsequent url just spins until you click the arrow?

Just trying to understand the whole thing. You first said it didn't matter if you hit enter or used the launch arrow, it just sits there. But then you mentioned the launch arrow is the only way you can get it to go to the URL.
