Adobe Software Installation Problem.

Hey guys, i bought Adobe PhotoShop CS3 and Illustrator CS3.

I have Windows XP pro with SP2 service pack.

The thing is, the instaltion somehow doesn't work. I put the DVD in, it autostarts, then i choose, install photoshop or illustrator, depending on the dvd, it shows t this screen
it takes 5 seconds for it to go through, and after that, it closes and doesn't do anything else?

The thing is, i also borowed InDesign CS3 from a friend, i think he has a copy, not the real version, to check out if they have the same system for the installation, and they actually do!! It does the same thing, initialisation window closes at the end, and noting else appears.

Im really pissed because i really want to use my photoshop and illustrator!

i checked it out, but i cant really find anything.

I just tried installing the programs on my other computer, well, my parents. it works just fine, after the initialisation, the installer kicks in.

But on my computer, it doesn't kick in. Why is that?

Could be a bad DVD drive, memory issue, or something of that sort.

Try copying the entire DVD to your computer and installing from there. Expect the autorun.inf to have problems copying over, so don't select that when you try to copy.
