Hey guys what's up?
I'm from Brazil and i'll get a EVGA GTX 660, but i have a doubt... Using nvidia Surround, will any game ask for more than 2GB of Vram? If yes, i will get the EVGA SC 3GB version. I already seen it runs the games i want in 1080p, but i want to know in 5760x1080. I will also use MAYA, AUTOCAD and 3DSMAX.
The priceas are: GTX660SC 2GB: R$800 (USD 370) GTX660SC 3GB: R$940 (USD 430). I will overclock as well.
I was reading that the standard PSU that comes with the XPS8300 (460w) have 2 6pin and can handle a GTX 660 TI. the GTX 660 TI is around 1000R$ (USD 480-520). is the better performance worth the money? IS there any performance increase in 5760x1080?
SO, the final questions is: Using nvidia Surround, 3GB would be helpful? Is it worth the money to get the 3GB or even the TI 3GB?
I have DELL XPS8300 (i72600 @3.4GHz, 8GB ddr3 1333, hd5670 {i dont know the motherboard}) and i am fan of nvidia, so don't advice me Radeon cards.
thanks for the help
