Here is my current rig
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jPxNFT

I just use the computer mainly to game at times. (SWTOR, World of Warcraft, Skyrim ) its Been several yrs since i made any note worthy changes to the rig. I do some video editing at times but the computer is for gaming mainly. Now i am ready to make some upgrades.

All suggestions welcome and a brief explanation to why you would chose to change this or that.
Thanks

In my opinion, the only thing really worth upgrading is the disk. Moving to an SSD is will dramatically improve how fast your system feels. With 256GB drives costing less than $100 it's the best upgrade for the money.
The rest of your system is pretty well balanced, you would get some benefit from a better GPU and CPU, but I would save your money until either the next big CPU update (from Intel) or the next big GPU update and basically build a new system.

Can you be more specific on your budget range for upgrades? it'd be more helpful if I knew how much you would spend on an upgrade.

Yes thanks i should have been more specific. My current SSD kicked the bucket. Kingston 256gb i believe. I was looking at making a few upgrades since i have it apart now. After doing some reading i was considering maybe swapping over to intel and upgrading the graphics card. Just not sure what would be best with the intel part.

probably a msi z97 gaming 5 motherboard. Anything from a i5 4690k to a i7 4790k will go with it (depending how much you are will willing to spend)

GPU, anything from a gtx 770 to a gtx 970 will be a very noticeable difference from your current one (again depending on how much you are willing to spend)
