Advice needed on motherboard for new build

Hi

I am planning to build a new system in the next coming 2 to 3 months, I haven't been following the new hardware news lately so I would appreciate any advice

I decided on the following and please comment on any part if you find it odd or have a better suggestion

Smallest WD hard drive I can find for the OS and other applications, 1 TB WD hard drive for other files (I like to keep the OS and my other files on separate drive as it is easier to just remove the files drive and replace it)

4 Gb 1066 (Will pick cheapest brand or something when I am ready to buy)

Please recommend me a motherboard, PSU and a sound card
I would like to note that I will not be using this computer for gaming, I will be using it mostly for movies and programming GPUs (why a good GPU)

I would get some decent memory so you don't have to replace it later...

i like the ram you recommended, but the motherboard supports crossfire

Well yes I suppose. I assumed since you said gaming wasn't important then you wouldn't sli, but if that is what you want, then I would recommend these over the UD4P:

If you're using CUDA to program two or three GTX 260 cards, I think it would work even on a Crossfire-only board. I remember a guy in Belgium last year who had four 8800 Ultra cards on a 790FX motherboard (Crossfire-only) and he had some really smart application there using them all. He used 790FX just because there were no Intel boards with 4 PCI-E slots.
