Advice Needed re Computer Upgrade

I am upgrading my PC and this will be my first time doing so. I have a limited budget and I'm taking my time picking out the parts but I want to make sure I have it right so that I can use it properly. It will be primarily used for The Sims 3, Witcher 2, Crysis and general office functions. The Sims 3 is currently the major issue with my existing PC with a slower CPU and my graphics card finally died on me. Here are the parts I am considering. Please don't suggest a high end i7 as these are currently well out of my price range. I just need to know that the parts I'm listing below will work well together. I am keeping my existing SATA Harddrive and DVD Rom.
