Advice on build

My primary computer use is for trading stocks. I use a charting service which hogs memory together with my trading account and web use. My current setup has me rebooting 2-3 times a day to regain speed and memory. My current system is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ with 2 gb of memory and xp operating system.
I'm looking for some advice on how much computer I really need. I don't do gaming.
Here's one build I've seen but don't know if it fits my needs, and if so if this is the right combo or if I'm overbuying.

The A10 is an out and out game based processor. It's poor for computing tasks.
Would suggest something like Intel i3 Ivybridge, possibly i3-3225. That has good compute performance, and also has decent on board graphics, for general purpose, so you don't need separate graphics card, if you don't want "proper" gaming. Link that with any H77 motherboard, and your RAM, HDD, and a 430/450w PSU, like an Antec Basiq (plus, obviously, case and optical drive), and should work out around same price, but much better.

That would be ideal, except OP probably wants a conventional hard drive, for decent amount of storage. There is room, compared to original price, to ADD in a WD Caviar Blue (or even Black), and have the best of both worlds, or simply use hard drive, in PLACE of SSD, and have some cash left over.

Other option is a 256GB SSD, though that could still be a little tight. But yes, a 1TB HDD in addition to the above is probably a good idea
