I'd appreciate advice on choosing memory for an MSI x870e carbon with a ryzen 9950x. I'm considering the following (from pcpartpicker)

I'd prefer to get 96gb since this is for deep learning and machine learning. I'm considering the following (partly due to what's available from amazon):

If I go with 96gb:

G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 96GB (2x48GB) 6400MT/s CL32-39-39-102 1.35V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Matte White (F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RW)

G.SKILL Trident Z5 Royal Series (Intel XMP 3.0) DDR5 RAM 96GB (2x48GB) 6400MT/s CL32-39-39-102 1.35V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Silver (F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TR5S)

If I go with 64gb:

CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MHz CL30 Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory - Black (CMK64GX5M2B6000C30)

CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 AMD EXPO Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory – Gray (CMH64GX5M2B6000Z30)

CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MHz CL30 Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory - Black (CMH64GX5M2B6000C30)

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Only the 4th appears to be "optimized" for AMD, though I'm not sure if that is at all critical.

I'd guess the difference between 3 and 5 is that one has RGB and the other doesn't.

I think the "Royal" series is directed at RAM over clockers and may have more advanced XMP profiles? That may be the only difference between 1 and 2.

The last 3 are all 6000/CL30. I'd expect them to be very similar, assuming they are compatible with your board at all.

I supposed they all will work and you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference in day to day use, but I don't know about your personal preferences for whatever reason.

I'd be more concerned about the 64 versus 96 choice.
