Hello,
I need advice on a GPU upgrade.
My PC config is:
cpu I5 11500
ram 16 gb DDR4 3600
PSU 650 W Corsair CX 650 M Bronze
monitor 3440 x 1440 ( 144Hz)

I am playing games like Warhammer III, World of Tanks, and the coming Civilization VII but also using it for AI video repairs with Topaz.
I have several cards in mind :

GigaByte Rx7900 GRE GAMING 590 Euro

Sapphire RX 7900 Nitro+ GRE 16 GB 700 Euro

ASROCK AMD RADEON RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming OC 695 Euro

Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XT Vapor-X 820 Euro

So I like Sapphire products, but the prices are significantly higher where I live than the base models. Also, I think if I buy 7900xt I must replace the PSU but 7900 GRE consumes more or less the same watts as my previous card 6900xt. Of course, I know that the CPU is not great and there will be some bottlenecks but I will build a better PC after the new AMD CPUs are put.
Thank you in advance :)

Personally speaking none of them as I tend to prefer getting a lot more performance uplift when upgrading, but especially when spending that kind of money. You should also get a new power supply period, but especially if you were to get a new video card.

Based on TPU's review numbers from GRE review:

Code:
6900 XT
1440p: 114
4k: 65.3

7900 GRE
1440p: 119.7 vs 6900 XT +5%
4k: 67.9 vs 6900 XT +4%

7900 XT
1440p: 139.9 vs 6900 XT +22.7%
4k: 81 vs 6900 XT +24%

3440x1440 is ~34.4% more pixels than 1440p
4k is 125% more pixels than 1440p

I don't have 6900xt anymore ;/ Basically, I use the integrated card in I5 11500

Ah, well it's an unfortunate time to be buying, but assuming there aren't any warranty/service concerns the ASRock 7900 XT seems to be the best price vs perf you've got listed.
I was thinking the same, just the aesthetics and Sapphire is usually the top AMD VGA producer but the difference in price is very big ( take in mind that these prices are Promo so they re more expensive)

Hello,

What's the *exact* PSU? Cooler Master sells a lot of low quality Bronze units. Hard to answer a GPU question without specifics here.

If you don't want to tweak any settings, and like to keep your card stock, then one of the 7900 XT's would work just fine, ideally the cheaper one because you don't get much for those extra 125 Euros. If you do, the 7900 GRE can have quite a nice performance uplift with a memory overclock, getting you near 7900 XT performance. There isn't the guarantee that your card will overclock to those levels, or that it will be able to keep those speeds long term. If you like to tweak your hardware though, there is definitely some fun to be had there.
