After a Windows 10 update all videos I watch are slow and laggy.

I was watching Netflix, and my computer restarted cause of an update (Thanks Win10) and afterwards when I resumed the video it would lag every once in a while and whenever I move the mouse, to make the HUD appear, it will REALLY stutter the video. Same on Youtube videos now, and when I fullscreen Youtube it takes a second to reach fullscreen, it used to be instantly. I will click fullscreen and the "outside" of the video will enlarge to fullscreen but the video itself stays in the normal small Youtube window for a second or two before enlarging as well.

You may need to reinstall your graphics driver, sounds like you are not getting hardware acceleration. With mine it just messed up the gamma on my screens.

I have tried reinstalling a few times, and downgrading to a previous driver version. Should I just keep trying until eventually it works?

Apologies, I couldn't seem to find a way to get to hardware acceleration. On Win10 I can't follow the steps you linked me, there is no "Display" option as far as I can see.. I also tried to find it in my Nvidia Physx settings, (control panel) but I couldn't find anything there either.. People on other forums kept talking about a slider for it, but I couldn't find it.

Sorry but could I ask you to try and dumb it more down for me? :s

I'm afraid I don't have access to a windows 10 PC at the moment to see what other methods might work. You could try pushing the start button and selecting the little cog on the left hand side and see if you can find your way to display settings from there.

But I really can't do better than those step by step instructions with pictures on them that I linked. Physx is in the Nvidia control panel somewhere, not the display properties where hardware acceleration is. Again I have no Nvidia graphics here to step you through it sorry.
