Hello all,

I just finished my custom computer build about 7 hours ago. When I boot into the bios everything seems fine the fans, cpu temp, ram registers and the storage and optical drive are shown however after attempting to Install Windows 8.1 64-bit from CD, it completes the installation and then reboots and I get the following error.

The digital signature for this file couldn't be verified.
0xc0000428
After this error all goes to hell and I get barrage of errors when i press enter to try again...

The operatign system couldn't be loaded because a requested file is missing or corrupt.
File: NDIS.SYS
Error: 0xc0000221

The operating system couldn't be loaded because critical system driver is missing or contains errors.
File: \windows\System32\drivers\qlfcoei.sys
Error: 0xc0000221

The operating system couldn't be loaded because the kernal is missing or contains errors.
File \windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
Error: 0xc0000221

I've tried 2 different hard drives. Both recognize fine when I connect them to my other computer. I tried making the drives GFT. I've also tried the 32-bit version of windows 8.1 from CD. I have not overlocked this CPU.

Here are my computer specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X Haswell-E 8-Core 3.0GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor BX80648I75960X

Storage:
1: Samsung 850 Pro 1 TB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-7KE1T0BW)
2: Western Digital Red 4TB 3.5" 5900RPM Internal Hard Drive

I'm so frustrated and desperate for help. This is just so crushing that after I finally get everything together I can't get Windows to install :(. I would absolutely be grateful for any help provided. Thank you so much. If you need any pictures I can provide them.

So it seems the issue was to much RAM that wasn't compatible. I took out 4 sticks and left 4 in and windows seems to be going through the usual install. I wanted to make sure it was the RAM and not something else so next I'll try to update the bios if that doesn't work Amazon has an awesome return policy.

Really appreciate yours and everybody's help. I apologize for being a noob and not doubling checking my manual.

umm...i guess..try 8gig module first then work your way up..if it's a 32gig module, ask for a rma to store for alternate or refund cause it won't fit your motherboard. or return the motherboard the same way for the same reason..ram and motherboard don't match up.
